End of Season

So with the fall season over, a quick reap of the team's record and future.

The Open team finished 3 - 4 and really put it together after KitKat in the Hat with a convincing win against Methacton and a huge beatdown of Radnor. The light attendance at KitKat allowed for much more playing time for the sophomores and some of the other less experienced players, it was a big growing moment, especially the loss to Stuyesant at KitKat. Overall, the open team finished 4 - 6 but showed a lot of potential for the spring, and definitely have the potential to make States and upset a few teams. While there is no doubt that Pennsbury is still the class of PHUEL, O'Hara Ultimate will make a push toward the top of the league if every player continues to grow and work hard.

The Girls team only had one game, crushing Radnor, but also had some players get major playing time at KitKat as part of BabaOhara Combo team. A number of players showed huge steps in playing ability and a ton of desire to continue to grow and get better. GirlSquad is still the best team in PHUEL and should be looked at as one of the elite programs in the state.

I had previously forgot to mention something about the Radnor game. Jax had the first ever Callahan for GirlSquad in that game. She was playing great defense and just wanted the disc more than any offensive player in the area, it was one of the highlights of the game.

The Alumni game will be Saturday November 29th at 12 noon. All former players are invited to come out and take on the current team. Depending on numbers, a male/female ratio will be enforced. See you then.
