Lower Merion Girls

O'Hara GirlSquad, playing as many games as possible as they prepare for Easterns', took on Lower Merion Girls. Earlier in the season, GirlSquad defeated LM at the HipHop Tournament, and once again, great offense led to another victory. Katie and Reg connected several times on offense as Reg finished just shy of a slash. Two game featured the debut of two new players, Molly and Olivia, who both played well, especially defensively. Monica continued her stellar defense, establishing herself as a shut down defender as well as crucially involved in the offense.

The girls cruised to a 12-4 victory and now begin to prepared for the first O'Hara Invite. The tournament will feature YHB, Stuy, Pennsbury, and LM/Haverford. With three of the teams heading to Easterns', this is a preview of the excitement and competition the girls will face in Pittsburgh.
